Buckled, faded, or rattling vinyl usually points to a nailing or expansion-gap mistake from a previous install, not a bad product.
We stock fade-resistant resin panels, which matters more in Lexington, KY than most homeowners realize once summer sun starts working on a cheaper panel.
Insulated-backer vinyl is available on request for an added thermal break behind standard panels.
Crews are trained specifically on vinyl's thermal expansion behavior, not just general siding installation.
We carry the insurance and licensing Lexington, KY requires for exterior residential work.
Loose or storm-lifted vinyl panels are common after wind events, and we prioritize those calls quickly.
New installation estimates are typically scheduled within the same week you call.
Vinyl generally prices lower per square foot than fiber cement or wood, and your quote reflects that clearly.
Repairs are priced separately from full installs so small jobs don't get inflated pricing.
Here's the range of Vinyl Siding work we handle, from new installs to color restoration.
Nailing pattern leaves proper room for thermal expansion, which is what prevents buckling in summer heat. We double-check panel lock engagement at every course, since a panel that isn't fully locked can rattle loose within a season.
Cracked, warped, or storm-lifted panels get replaced individually with color-matched stock whenever possible. We check for sun-bleaching gradient across the wall so a patch doesn't stand out under afternoon light.
This upgrade is popular during a re-side on older Lexington, KY homes built before modern insulation codes. Foam backing thickness gets matched to your wall's existing furring depth so panels sit flush, not proud of the trim.
We install both standard double-4 lap and the deeper-shadow Dutch lap profile depending on the look you want. Dutch lap's deeper shadow line reads differently depending on your home's lighting and roof pitch, worth seeing in person.
We'll tell you honestly when restoration won't hold and replacement is the better long-term option. We test the UV-protective treatment on a small section first to confirm it takes evenly.
Mismatched trim from a partial previous repair gets addressed during full-home color consultations. Shutter hardware gets reused when it's still sound, saving cost versus a full accessory replacement.
We'll ask a few quick questions about panel condition and age to gauge scope.
An estimator or repair technician arrives with vinyl samples and, for repairs, common profiles and colors on hand.
Insulated and standard vinyl options are shown side by side so you can compare cost and benefit.
Panels go up or get repaired to manufacturer spec, with proper expansion allowance at every seam.
New vinyl install looks sharp and hasn't rattled once in the wind, unlike our old siding.
Color match on a repaired section was close enough that you'd never know it wasn't original.
Dutch lap profile gives the house a completely different look than the flat double-4 it had before.
They were honest that our chalky old vinyl wasn't worth restoring and needed replacement — appreciated the straight answer.
